Dear Customer,

This edition of our quarterly newsletter will highlight our FPGA-based System-on-Modules.

At reflex ces, we took our extensive FPGA experience, combined it with our in-house knowledge, and created modules that are perfectly tailored to your needs.
Their benefits include a small size suitable for the embedded and industrial markets, and high-performance programmable logic devices with built-in high-speed transceivers.

Our FPGA modules can also be customized according to other requirements.

Highlights

Achilles Arria® 10 SoC System-on-Module update

This updated Achilles SoM standardizes all variants with 4GB DDR4 and 32eMMC NAND while adding an I2C serial flash device to store nonvolatile user data which provides a simple method to uniquely identify each SoM. A version of the SoM now supports increased transceiver interface data rates up to 12Gbps for video standards such as 12G-SDI, or High-Speed Data conversion using JESD204B (BSP on request).

The updated Achilles SoM is sampling in March 2023 with full production in Q2 2023. A Development Kit with the Starter Carrier board, or with a PCIe carrier board is available separately to quickly start FPGA and software development. The SoM can be purchased separately for production systems, in three different versions: Lite 12G, Indus and Indus 12G.

Target Markets:

Video Broadcast | Medical and Industrial Imaging | Machine and Intelligent Vision | Test & Measurement | Industrial and Defense Radar Systems | Satellite Communication

Ordering information:
Indus v5 version: RXCA10S066PF34-SOM02I
Indus 12G v5 version: RXCA10S066PF34-SOM12I
Lite 12G v5 version: RXCA10S027PF34-SOM12L

COMXpress Stratix® 10 SoC System-on-Module update

The industrial version of the module supports an extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C (compared to 0°C to +40°C supported by the commercial version). This version is dedicated for military, industrial and medical (especially biosciences) applications.
The COMXpress SoM features a Stratix 10 SoC device, and therefore can be used in host mode in High Performance Computing applications. It can also be used in slave mode using the GX transceiver links to communicate with the FPGA.

The COMXpressSX Stratix 10 module can be installed on an evaluation carrier board, the COMXpress PCIe carrier board. The industrial COMxpress SoM is sampling now. Please contact sales@reflexces.com for more information.

Target Markets:

HPC and Analytics | Acceleration | Intelligent Vision | Video Processing

Zeus Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC System-on-Module update

A new version of this module, based on the Xilinx® ZU19EG Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC FPGA, will be released this year.

The ZU19EG version offers the 1.1M logic cell device, which is twice the logic density of the current ZU11 version with 650K logic cells. This allows to run more complex and powerful algorithms and calculations, for example for Radar applications. The total Block RAM is 34.6MB and total UltraRAM is 36.0Mb. This PFGA also offers 1968 DSP Slices.

The updated Zeus Zynq® UltraScale+™ module is fully compatible with the existing Zeus Carrier Board.
The updated Zeus ZU19 SoM will be available by the end of Q2 2023.

Target Markets:

Software Defined Radio | Radar Systems | Electronic Warfare | High-Precision Measurement

Ordering information:
Zeus Indus ZU11EG: RXCZUP11EGPF42-SOM01I
Zeus Indus ZU19EG: RXCZUP19EGPF42-SOM01I
